Its own AI, trained for sales
The AI that talks with the stores’ customers is Andavor’s own and trained for sales. The model in use today is called AN-01. It runs on infrastructure operated by Andavor itself, and the content of conversations is not sent to any third-party AI provider.
- Andavor improves its own model only with anonymized data, and you can opt out of that use with no change in price or service.
- A store’s catalog, prices and manuals are never used to serve another store.
Why we exist
Automating customer service has come to mean making it worse.
Everyone has talked to a bot that didn’t understand the question. The trade-off we’ve learned to accept is this: either the store serves customers well and can’t keep up with the volume, or it keeps up and serves them badly. Until now, automation has almost always meant waiting less for a worse answer.
Andavor exists to undo that trade-off. Our job comes down to one thing: taking sales and support AI to the point where its answer beats the wait — and is never worse than the person who would have answered. It’s not about trading people for a cheap bot. It’s about the customer being served at 10:40 p.m., on a Sunday, the day before a holiday: the hours when nobody answers today and the sale simply dies.
On one side, it’s a two-person store competing with businesses that have staff on call. On the other, it’s the buyer getting a real answer instead of “we’ll get back to you soon.” They’re one and the same — and that’s why it’s worth building.
What Andavor does
Andavor’s AI serves your customers on your website chat, on WhatsApp, on Instagram and Facebook, and answers with your company’s knowledge.
- It learns from what you teach it: the store’s website, documents and images. Only what you check goes into customer service.
- It doesn’t make things up: price, stock and shipping come from a lookup in the system. When it passes the conversation to your team is up to you, in the Instructions.
- In the dashboard, from a browser on your computer or phone, you follow conversations and orders.
- On WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, once you connect your own payment and shipping tools, it creates the charge in your own payment account and gets real shipping quotes from your carrier.
- On those channels, if your team replies to a customer, from the dashboard or from the channel itself, the conversation passes to your team and the AI stays quiet in it until someone uses Devolver para a IA (Hand back to the AI).
- In your website chat, it answers with your real catalog and guides the customer to finish the purchase on the website itself. There it doesn’t quote shipping, build a cart or charge.
What Andavor doesn’t do
- It doesn’t sell your products: you do; the AI guides the conversation.
- It doesn’t receive your sales revenue or act as a payment intermediary: the money goes straight to your account.
- It doesn’t issue invoices: invoicing stays with you and your accountant.
- It doesn’t sell, rent or hand over anyone’s data.
