Connecting with Meta got simpler
Connecting WhatsApp and Instagram through Meta got simpler. Meta's window opens on tap, the connection isn't lost if you close Andavor's window, and when Meta doesn't connect the screen tells you why.
What changed
- When you tap Connect through Meta, Meta's window opens right away, with no screen in between
- While it's open, Andavor shows the three steps: sign in with the business's Facebook, choose the business and the number, and tap Finish
- Meta's window didn't open? The Open it again button opens the same connection, without starting another one
- The Instagram button takes you straight to Instagram's screen
If you close the window
Closed Andavor's connect window before finishing? The connection still completes when you finish in Meta. And when you open the window again, you continue the same connection, with no need to start another one.
When Meta doesn't connect
- The screen shows the reason Meta gave, with Try again and Contact support
- On Instagram, it reminds you the account must be professional (Business or Creator) and shows how to change the account type
- When Meta gives an error code, it shows in small print below, so support can find the case faster
