The AI swaps, cancels and explains shipping

Three new things in customer service: swapping an item in an order that can no longer change, cancelling orders and explaining shipping.

Swaps in orders with an invoice

  • When the order already has an invoice or no longer accepts changes, the AI creates a new order with the new item and only then cancels the old one. The old order is not deleted
  • The money the customer already paid goes to the new order. If the new item costs more, it sends the link for the difference. If there is money left over, the refund becomes a task for the team
  • The item coming in can carry the store's discount, as in a sale
  • Cancelling the invoice and the shipping label of the old order becomes a task for the team
  • It works for paid orders that have not shipped yet, in Brazilian stores with a connected WooCommerce site

Cancelling orders

  • When the customer asks, the AI cancels the order that has not shipped yet. It stays cancelled on the site, without being deleted
  • If the order was already paid, refunding the money, cancelling the invoice and cancelling the label become tasks for the team
  • It only cancels the order of someone who proved to be its owner

Why shipping costs what it does

When quoting shipping, the AI receives the reason for the price: the store's shipping rules, insurance for the product's value and the shipping options the store does not use for that product. So it explains it to the customer with the quote's own data.

Tip

Keep the Shipping screen matching what your store really uses. That is where the AI takes the rules from to explain shipping.
